What you'll do...

About the role

You will be responsible for delivering the best possible value for customers while driving growth for businesses across multiple international markets. You will assess the promotional offers available in each market, identify new promotional opportunities that enhance customer experience in discovering and applying promotions, and deliver customizable promo capabilities that markets can leverage for various promotional activities, such as special events, or new programs like membership and financing options. As part of the Walmart Global Tech family, you will have a wealth of cutting-edge technology solutions to leverage from, while devising new innovative solutions for each international market with unique customer needs. You will independently own and drive large initiatives and set the standards for product mindset and execution, both within and outside the team.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Being customer-centric , putting the customer first, and advocating for the customer in all discussions, prioritizations, and decisions.
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family using domain expertise, internal and external best practices and market opportunities; building business cases, and defining objectives and key results.
  • Developing and enhancing products – you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners, including engineering, UX, data science, data analytics, and program management, and working as a team to execute on the plan.
  • Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand new technology offerings and tradeoffs.
  • Being passionate about understanding customers in international markets, by studying the regional market trends and competitive landscape, and launching products at scale that require alignment across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
  • Being a product champion , participating in, and contributing to, various product forums to share knowledge and build best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA a huge plus!
  • 8+ years in product management or related field, with direct experience in building and launching software products and features by leveraging user research, data analytics, experimentation, and incremental launches.
  • Strong preference for experience in retail technology, omnichannel shopping experiences, and digital marketing & promotions technologies.
  • Experience in identifying key metrics, conducting rigorous explorative data analysis, and in building business cases that drive decision making and business prioritization.
  • Experience working with international markets a plus.
