6 years of experience as a sales engineer in a cloud computing or B2B software company in a customer-facing role, professional services, and sales engineering setting.
Experience with virtualization and networking technology (e.g., hypervisors, elastic compute, containerized infrastructure).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.
Experience with advanced areas of networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, and application acceleration.
Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, and Big Data technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source).
Experience with load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks, and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies.
Experience with customer’s existing software workloads.
Ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud.
