Job responsibilities

• Apply a demonstrated understanding of the impact of regulatory change and engagement on Technology; functioning of governance frameworks; and legal entity structures and operating models to the role.
• Provide oversight for managing third-party and inter-affiliate (intra-Bank) outsourcing engagements, including materiality assessments and regulatory notification where necessary for South East Asia locations.
• Manage and uplift of inventory management processes for South East Asia locations, which provide enabling reference data for the Technology ‘EMR’ (Executive Management Reporting).
• Provide support for the South East Asia Senior Technology Officer and South East Asia Technology Operating Committee (SEATOC), in their oversight role for Technology (Incidents, Headline Programs, Risk metrics, key regulatory engagements and change, etc.). This includes: Ensuring all materials produced for the SEATOC and related artifacts follow global and regional standards; Support the Senior Technology Officer (“STO”) on Technology updates and escalations to senior committees; Engage in location Technology audits and regulatory assessments where input is required on accountable areas (governance framework, outsourcing, inventory management, etc.); Ensure regulatory submissions are appropriately substantiated, demonstrating adherence to regulatory expectations, and reflecting the balanced feedback of key stakeholders. ; Support the STO in discharging their accountability requirements as needed (including submission of accountability statements).
  

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualifications; prior experience in Technology is required.
• Over 9 years of experience in Technology, with recent experience in IT management and in the financial services sector in a regional or global capacity.
