Key job responsibilities
Our QAEs test code at both the service and user level, using a variety of black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques. As a QA Engineer, you will innovate our test strategy across multiple dependencies, locales and device types and implement highly scalable automation to enable both UI (web and device level) and back end testing.You will work to be able to understand software internals, debug complex problems including performance bottlenecks, and write automated tests in and/or using existing automated tools.You must have experience in diagnosing project release problems and taking corrective action, such as escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results. Our QAEs are also responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and for reporting on test progress, metrics, and issues.As a quality assurance engineer, you will/may:Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or featuresPerform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks
Troubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
Key job responsibilities
2+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in math/statistics/engineering
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Knowledge of test methodologies, software testing life cycle
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Bash, Perl, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby)
Experience with industry technologies (e.g., Selenium, Junit, TestNG, and other open source tools)A day in the life

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
