Tax Senior - National Tax – International Tax & Transactions Services – Transfer Pricing

Your key responsibilities
You’ll be heavily involved at all stages of the project lifecycle, making this a high-profile opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities and diversify your skills and experience. You’ll be able to assist clients with transfer pricing related controversy work in all phases of the administrative tax dispute resolution process. You’ll work with EY’s National Tax Department team on resolving the most complex transfer pricing matters through IRS appeals, competent authority, APAs, or other administrative dispute resolution processes.
Skills and attributes for success
- Applying complex transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges
- Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by preparing documents, and assisting in defending transfer pricing in audits or other administrative dispute resolution forums
- Supplying innovative transfer pricing and economic ideas alongside responsive services and work products
- Coordinating work with other client service colleagues globally to drive collaboration
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, management or another relevant discipline
- A master’s in taxation, law degree or CPA or chartered financial analyst (CFA)
- A minimum of three years of related work experience in professional services or professional tax organization, with specific experience in transfer pricing or JD/LLM (Tax)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent legal researching skills in the federal and international tax areas
- The ability to work at a fast pace, often with shifting responsibilities
- Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance
- Occasional Travel (while occasional travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $88,000 to $145,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $105,600 to $164,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
