Duties: Design, develop, and support financial applications and analytical tools supporting risk management functions using Java, Spring Framework, JMS, XML and Agile. Discuss business requirements with stakeholders and implement solutions using Java and Cloud computing technologies working with containers, microservices and large datasets including Docker, Kubernetes. Convert requirements into business processes. Execute application performance tuning and diagnose bottlenecks. Perform root cause analysis, unit testing and ensure software code optimization. Liaise with end users to gather business requirements and discuss technical solutions. Enhance and modify logical and physical data models. Build scripts to support application configurations. Perform exposure spike analysis and variance analysis to identify key exposure drivers. Design trade models, workflows, business rules, user interfaces and reports. Conduct code reviews to validate the design, functional and technical implementation features. Design and prototype technical solutions. Provide mentorship on domain modelling, code quality, code reviews, and testing. Manage RDBMS, Oracle, NoSQL and MongoDB databases. Manage build infrastructure, Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) of risk management tools. Report on project status and risks to stakeholders. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Consultant, Sr Associate, Software Engineer, Senior Developer or related position involving Java development and Spring Framework. 5 years of experience must include: Java, Spring Framework; JMS, XML, Agile; Converting requirements into business processes. At least 3 years of experience must include: Designing trade models, workflows, business rules, user interfaces and reports; Root cause analysis; Multithreading; and Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD). Wage Range: $172,650 to $187,000
