Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT-related aspects of M&A and Divestiture/De-merger projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough IT due diligence, identifying risks, opportunities, and synergies.
  • Develop and implement IT integration or separation plans, including infrastructure, applications, data migration, and system consolidation or carve-out.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget.
  • Provide expert guidance on IT governance, compliance, and best practices throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IT strategies support the overall deal structure and value creation.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and business units to ensure a common understanding and approach to the transaction.
  • Oversee the transition of IT services, support structures, and contracts during the change of ownership.
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT consulting with a focus on M&A and Divestiture/De-merger projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT systems through the entire lifecycle of M&A or Divestiture/De-merger.
  • Strong project management skills with certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 being advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, data management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet project needs.
