Key Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, including TILA, Reg. Z, ECOA, Reg. B, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and similarly applicable state laws
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and terms and conditions for consumer credit products and services
  • Experience interacting with federal and state financial regulators and examiners
  • Experience providing product counseling for mobile wallets, digital payments systems, alternative payments, or other similar financial products and services
  • Knowledge of the structure and operation of payment network rules
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional group
  • Practical business judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • High degree of comfort with financial and workplace technology, including project management and collaboration tools and applications
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Description
In this role, you’ll support the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team on a range of initiatives for Apple Card and related consumer credit products and services. This will include serving as both regulatory product counsel to evaluate and provide strategic guidance on new initiatives and as commercial counsel to draft and negotiate agreements as necessary to support those initiatives. You’ll also help the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team understand and navigate the regulatory environment that applies to banks, bank service providers, payment networks, credit bureaus, and other participants in the consumer finance industry.
Education & Experience
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
