The Liquidity Management (LM) team within the Citi Treasury Global Function is responsible for establishing the framework for sizing liquidity requirements include developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Citi Treasury, providing liquidity oversight to Citi’s global entities, a liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the company’s global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress. The Balance Sheet Mgmt Sr Anlst is a professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
- Participate with the governance of funding of the balance sheet and liquidity management.
- Contribute to management of first interpretation of Liquidity Policy, first line procedures, risk appetite documentation, liquidity entity structure and contingency
- Participate in the Contingency Funding Planning process and its governance
- Participate in the Resolution and Recovery Planning process for the liquidity
- Involved in liquidity risk committee and forum oversight
- Exposure to Citi’s balance sheet and develop understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity reporting and monitoring processes.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and esc with transparency.
- Directs project prioritization and future state planning and strategic direction.
- Exposure into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi; interacting with various levels within the organization.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field preferred
- 3 plus years of experience in Finance Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture
- Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
- Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact with all levels of management Must be a team player
