In this role, you will guide the development towards reliable designs of new cell technologies. You will develop computer vision algorithms to automate cell CT image analysis and manage critical data analytics of battery cell CT images. You will collaboratively address design reliability risks within program timeline and grow confidence for program level decision making.

• Develop metrology algorithms to automate cell CT image analysis
• Lead cell CT image analysis to ensure high confidence of cell jelly roll life requirements
• Collaborate on failure analysis to understand the root cause and drive resolution of jelly roll fallouts

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proficiency on Python and SQL
• Familiarity with deep learning and classic image feature extraction
• Understanding of battery cell failure modes and electrochemistry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
