Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience working with gaming hardware and peripherals.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute product strategies: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive product strategies for gaming platforms and devices that align with company goals and market demands.
• Market research and analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, user needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize this information to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
• Creates a business case for the development of a new product or product features in an established product area (i.e., time to market, cost, market share).
• Product lifecycle management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch activities. Ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery. Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop product goals (e.g., performance, cost, timeline, customer schedules), discuss product feasibility, and facilitate cross-functional decision making for products they own.
• Performance monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, user engagement, and customer satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to inform product enhancements and future developments.
• Stakeholder communication: Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and performance to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners.
• Innovation and trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming industry trends, technologies, and advancements in gaming devices to ensure our platforms remain competitive and cutting-edge.
Level of Responsibility:
• Working independently with little supervision.
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
• Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.
• Exercising substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.
• Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.
