As a member of the Amazon Interest team, you will be working on identifying customers unique hobbies and interests, like running, biking, gardening, etc. and build an alternate structure to existing product catalog around these interests. You would then use this structured data to create new immersive shopping experiences that customers would love. You would be expected to move fast, have good judgment on what is and what is not worth exploring, create simple and scalable solutions and identify correct problem sets. You will be surrounded by thought-leaders in the Personalization space who are patent-leaders within Amazon. You will keep the team up-to date with latest academic research in relevant fields.Key job responsibilities
- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD degree with 4 years of applied research experience or a Masters degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
