Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program or project management.
5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, including management of EHS compliance for industrial facilities.
Experience in the construction industry in Malaysia.
Ability to communicate in English and Malay fluently in order to interact with contractors and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Certification from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) or equivalent agency.
15 years of experience in construction or similar EHS related industry.
Experience communicating with Federal, State and Local Authorities regarding EHS issues.
Experience in working with international stakeholders and concurrently managing multiple projects.
Experience in managing construction works within the operational space.
Experience in working in a construction/high-tech environment.
