Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years people management experience.
• Experience in cloud computing control plane stacks is desired.

• Lead a team of 75+ engineers on some of the technically deepest problems in the Compute Platform area.
• Be hands-on, curious, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Help evolve the cloud infrastructure for the next big growth.
• Provide ample opportunities and training to learn on the job.
• Bring a fresh/diverse perspective as we build the next-gen cloud infrastructure.
• Be the next big-idea generator in the team, willing to take risks and use fast-fail techniques.
• Lead a set of engineers on the journey to deliver impact in a sustainable, and KPI-driven manner.
