Join Fortinet as a Senior Software Developer with strong Tableau experience to play a pivotal role in the data processing lifecycle of our existing and forthcoming GenAI/Metrics products. This position offers the chance to engage in various stages of the data processing process, from data collection, data analyzing, to data visualization. You will also participate in normal software development life cycle such as coding and debugging and testing, and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative features. You will utilize cutting-edge GenAI/LLM technologies and Tableau tool to enhance our next-generation GenAI and metrics platform, setting new standards for Fortinet products.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards/reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
• Develop and implement new software features promptly and with high quality according to specifications for Fortinet’s GenAI/ML products.
• Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
• Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect.
• Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight to the management team and improve/automate processes.
• Direct involvement in troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing products.
• Execute system integrations in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Optimize and support existing software systems and document maintenance procedures.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing Tableau driven dashboards and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python on Linux is crucial. Experience in other programming languages, such as Java, C++, is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Hands-on experience in SQL and relational database management application development.
• A solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and visualization.
• Working knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture.
• Experience with a deep understanding of AWS or Azure, and containerized environments, Docker is preferred.
• Solid understanding of LLM and associated development environments; experience in GenAI development is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in Web development
• Familiarity with QA standards and software development principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle various tasks.
• Highly motivated, responsible, adaptable, capable of learning new technologies swiftly, and keen in innovation.
• Excellent team collaboration, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
