The opportunity (Job Summary)

The selected candidate will:

• Play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust SaaS solutions.
• Leads the Development & Engineering team in area of specialism and develops the team to ensure it has the right capability say BTP Implementations, Software Architecture principles and ability to work collaboratively with the cross functional teams.
• Contributes to the strategic direction within area of specialism including standards, culture and ways of working in line with departmental strategy
• Strategically leverages networks to drive innovation, best practice and a continuous improvement culture
• Drives the relationship with other departments and significantly contributes to the development of the design, technology, product development and vendor strategy

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-level architectural solutions for multitenant SaaS offerings leveraging SAP BTP / SAP SaaS offerings / Public and Private cloud solutions.
• Customer orientation with a strong focus on integration and quality.
• Strong understanding of development technologies – SAP CAPm, NodeJs, Python, SAP S/4HANA , BTP(Cloud Foundry) - HANA Cloud , Integration Suite ,GenAI Hub, oData, Analytics – SAC/DataSphere.
• Good communication skills to discuss, gather requirements and organize delivery.
• Contributes to defining the product's architecture with the solution architect.
• Supports the product owner in writing user stories and offers crucial technical knowledge for shaping the end-to-end process and data flow.
• Support and advise product owner by ensuring technical and architectural feasibility, readiness, and compliance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
• Assist the product teams in translating business and product requirements into technical requirements, models and software architecture.
• Help & support team with feasibility, estimations preparation & reviews of features.
• Conduct system analysis, feasibility studies, and proof of concept to validate new architectures and solutions.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP technologies.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.

Skills and attributes for success

• Highly advanced knowledge of Architecture concepts, Togaf certification preferred, LeanIX knowledge and solution design experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
• 6 to 9 years’ of product/project experience in Solution Architecture.
• Good Knowledge in Areas : AI and GenAi Basics, SAP CAPm, NodeJs, Python, SAP S/4HANA , BTP(Cloud Foundry) - HANA Cloud , Integration Suite ,GenAI Hub, oData, Analytics – SAC/DataSphere, API designs , SaaS products with commercialization experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Roadmaps on latest technologies.
• Architecture and landscape plan for project delivery in Agile.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
