As an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Equities Legal Team, you will work on complex APAC and cross-border derivative transactions. Job Responsibilities:

• Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of corporate equity derivative transactions.
• Review deal structures and documentation to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with business teams from transaction start to close.
• Develop relationships with external counsel across jurisdictions.
• Work on cross-border transactions with legal colleagues globally.
• Provide regulatory advice impacting the corporate equity derivatives business.
• Assist in regulatory change implementation affecting supported businesses.
• Drive process and documentation improvements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in law with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Experienced derivatives lawyer with strong technical skills and ISDA documentation familiarity.
• Excellent analytical abilities and judgment under time pressure.
• Effective organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interest in financial markets and transactional work.

• Experience in corporate derivatives and margin loans.
• Strong commercial aptitude and client contact experience.
