Key Qualifications
- B.S. Required, PhD preferred
- Experience leading projects from definition stage to mass production
- Experience in architectural discussion with cross-functional leaders related to power supply and digital design for connectivity solutions
- Expert in one or more connectivity wireless system like WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB or NFC
- Experience with RF components and circuits design and integration into consumer products
- Experience with at least one RF simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, Matlab or SystemVue
- Must be an excellent communicator, both written and oral
- Successful track record of delivering highly innovative, and high quality communications products
- Well organized and have the ability to be flexible in a changing work environment
- International travel as needed (10%)
Description
Our Connectivity RF Hardware Design Engineer is an integral member of the Hardware Engineering team designing future wireless products. The Design Engineer in this role is expected to investigate various RF front end architectures to solve product requirements. Lead the architecture and design for a wireless solution into Apple products. This includes front-end architecture, component specification, line-up analysis and modeling, design implementation, and failure analysis. Own their technology from concept through product introduction. They will work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups such as antenna design, industrial design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering.
Education & Experience
B.S. and 10+ years of relevant industry experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
