Key job responsibilities
- Research and develop new methodologies for demand forecasting and price modeling.- Improve upon existing methodologies by adding new data sources and implementing model enhancements.- Drive scalable solutions.
A day in the life
Develop and enhance forecasting models, improving overall accuracy and coverage.
Identify root causes of forecast errors and translate insights into research opportunities to improve model and process.
Present forecast results to Sales and Marketing stakeholders, and drive the expansion of science-driven forecast coverage and use cases.

- 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
- 2+ years of data scientist experience
- 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
