About the Role

This role is based out of San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and evaluate novel computer vision and deep learning methods and apply them to real-world products.

  • Conduct high-level and innovative research using advanced methods to solve practical problems and enable new products, communicate your findings to team members.

  • Research topics include synthetic data generation, controllability of generative models, style transfer, image harmonization and deep learning architectures

  • Deploy research findings and new models directly onto edge devices, ensuring efficient implementation and optimization for real-world applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research outcomes into production environments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a master/PhD degree in computer science or related field

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of machine learning, computer vision and state-of-the-art deep learning architectures

  • Strong computer science fundamentals, problem solving skills, and proficiency in programming (Python, C, C++) and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch

  • Hands-on experience with deploying and optimizing machine learning models for edge devices or resource-constrained environments.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively and communicate findings

Preferred Skills

  • Publishing record in peer-reviewed venues

  • Experience with distributed model training and knowledge of CUDA

  • Strong research or prototyping experience in relevant areas such as generative AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Computational Photography

  • Experience with hardware-specific neural network optimizations for edge devices, such as GPUs, TPUs, or specialized accelerators

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $37to $50. This range does not include any othercompensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base wage offereddepends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for theposition, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other
