The EMSO (External Manufacturing & Supply Operations) Manager Supply Chain is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the US Supply Plan for all products from all external (Third Party) vendors within the portfolio, to ensure the correct supply and stocking levels to support sales and operations. You will be responsible to identify & resolve material related issues. This position will work closely with the various country, site, regional and global functional groups of Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Sales Regional Managers, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Procurement to ensure effectiveness of the Supply Chain Processes in meeting overall service, inventory and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly development of the Sales & Operations Plan for external vendors that supports defined customer service and inventory metrics
• Support & implement global inventory and supply chain policies, replenishment strategies, master data optimization, and process management, ensuring appropriate levels of safety stock are set and achieved across the assigned portfolio
• Liaise within the US supply planning team to coordinate bulk deliveries from internal and external supply sites for external packaging to support customer service and inventory metrics
• Support the Global and Regional S&OP process and Supply Chain teams through relevant metric reporting and summary of risks, opportunities, & key supply decisions required.
• Accountable for supply chain metrics/dashboards: CSL/OTIF, Inventory, Restricted/QA stock, Back Orders, Open PO’s, Short-Date/write-offs
• Participate in the development of the supply planning strategy and implement relevant elements within the EMSO Supply Chain.
• Partner with the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) to support contracting, performance management, and the ongoing relationship with external partners
• Actively participate in new product introduction, bids/tenders, and product transfer teams to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated and executed in support of the project timelines
• Maintains inventory at optimum levels via routine review of planning parameters.
• Develop a balanced S&OP supply chain plan for assigned portfolio of products in creation of SAP based 24 month rolling supply plan, including Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
• Firm the master schedule within the frozen horizon/period. Owner of the Master Production Schedule (MPS)/Stock Requirements list for assigned portfolio of products.
• Review MPS weekly Ensure all Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)/ Supply Network Planning (SNP) elements are relevant
• Convert and maintain purchase orders
• Review MRP/SNP messaged & alerts daily and take action as required
• Make all material management decisions based on MRP/SNP data
• Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle count, and reconciliation
• Monitor MRP health metrics to ensure accuracy of planning book
• Drives long-term supply chain strategy development and implementation across EMSO in alignment with Teva Global Operations (TGO), business, and functional strategy goals
• Supports standardization of S&OP processes, templates and metrics at EMSO & TGO level
• Drive to meet critical AOP targets Customer Service Level (CSL)/ On Time in Full (OTIF)
• Monitor Inventory, Short-Date, and Backorder/OOS and develop risk mitigation plans via cross-functional collaboration for solutions as needed
• Work with the Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM), as part of the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT), to ensure that suppliers are aligned to the latest strategic initiatives and adhere to the appropriate business, technical, and quality agreements


Your experience and qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College in the area of Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• APICS or equivalent certification preferred

Key Requirements

• Minimum of five years Supply Chain Planning experience with a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and "Best Practices"
• Experience with Advanced Planning Systems, e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP APO/SCM preferred
• Specific experience in the areas of Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning and Sales / Operations Planning preferred
• Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
• Current knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements preferred
• Experience in implementing Supply Chain Planning Execution Systems and Processes within an ERP environment, including design and implementation preferred
