Role: Software Engineer Staff

Responsibilities

· Test IP networking related software product to ensure it operates as defined by requirements

· Build network configurations to model well-optimized network reference designs

· Plan, develop and execute automated and manual test plans

· Provide constructive feedback, report issues and interact with developers to deliver superior product quality

· Review requirements from the Product Management team

· Utilize available network troubleshooting tools, including network packet captures, monitoring devices, log files, and customer input to facilitate effective issue resolution

Minimum Qualifications

· MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Expert knowledge on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies by either validating or deploying related networking products

· Hands-on experience with at least one popular Networking Operating Systems such as NXOS, IOS, EOS, JunOS and SONiC

· Solid understanding on popular clos based Data Center networks architecture such as 3-stage and 5-stage

· Expert understanding of protocols used in Data Center networks such as VXLAN, and MP-BGP

· Expert knowledge on Python programming

· Deep understanding of software, networking, and system concepts, including Linux internals, distributed system concepts and network troubleshooting tools

· Quality focused personality with a strong interest in finding product and interaction limitations

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships. Strong problem solving and decision making skills

· Minimum 10y+ of experience
