Perform non-destructive failure analysis on PCBAs to identify and troubleshoot issues
Utilize specialized equipment to determine the root cause of failing PCBAs
Analyze CAN logs and vehicle history to narrow down failures and inform design improvements
Conduct advanced soldering and rework tasks involving fine-pitch components, SMDs, and multilayer PCBA boards
Independently build and validate custom wiring harnesses and PCBA test setups/fixtures with minimal instructions
Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation of test procedures and findings, presenting results to engineers and stakeholders
Follow and refine standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and quality
Coordinate and track the shipment of PCBAs from global locations, ensuring timely and efficient testing and analysis
What You’ll Bring
High awareness of safety hazards, procedures, and best practices, with experience working with High Voltage systems and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts
Experience with testing and validation of electronic components and PCBAs, including soldering and reworking PCBAs and making custom harnesses
Experience with benchtop electronics equipment, including DMM, Oscilloscope, and Voltage Supplies
Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation
Ability to learn new test procedures and software, with working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Eager to learn, independently motivated, and proactive, with a strong desire to contribute to the team's success
2+ years of experience in a lab/shop setting, with a strong foundation in electronics and testing
