In this role, you will:
Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
Provide work direction to lessexperienced Strategyand Execution staff
Required Qualifications:
2+ years ofBusiness Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planningexperience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Post graduate degree in Business or in a related discipline such as accounting
- 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: audit, compliance, operational risk, or business consulting
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly.
- Experience with risk reporting and analytics
- Experience creating, executing, and documenting compliance, control, and business process testing
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: business managers, operations managers etc.
- Experience monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry, including risk management, issue management, compliance, risk governance, and/or audit operations
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking products and services
- Awareness of tools such as Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, JIRA, Power BI, Tableau, Python for reporting and data visualization.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools to generate actionable insights, create dashboards, and present project performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of continuous monitoring tools/detectiontools/controls/processes,and ability to identify emerging risks and offer mitigations recommendations.
- Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas.
- Consultative in approach, understanding and anticipating business needs and proactively delivering solutions.
