Day To Day
- You will partner with account teams and other SEs to bring the best solutions to our customers and foster long-term, trusted business relationships. Juniper Networks has some of the most critical customer relationships in the APAC region.
- Communicate key issues and advise customers on short- and long-term product directions so that they can make the best decisions possible for their digital transformation.
- Understand and deliver compelling presentations, scope, and develop Juniper solutions and corresponding business cases to promote Juniper's products and solutions to customers and partners.
- Introduce cutting-edge and competitive processes and systems to provide quick yet thorough responses to customer Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- With sales staff, assess the potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for developing and implementing customer products/applications/solutions.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and may coordinate the activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Assemble appropriate technical resources to meet assigned customer requirements.
- Champion and evangelize Juniper's cutting-edge experience-first and self-driven infrastructure solutions.
What you bring to the table
- Possess a proficient understanding of the pre-sales engineering process and the sales processes applied to large enterprise or federal government accounts.
- Amazing presentation skills and the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to various audiences, including executive-level technical decision-makers.
- Unbreakable customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Technical leadership for specific accounts/opportunities and hands-on expertise for customer demonstrations or trials.
- An ability to work with the sales team in developing opportunities likely to be of considerable strategic or long-term value.
- Strategic sales strategy building at the account/deal level.
- 12+ years of related experience.
Practical Requirements
- Holds an Australian Government security clearance or must have Australian citizenship and eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
- Knowledge of industry-based solutions, including network architectures, cloud-based solutions and security architectures.
- Working knowledge of advanced enterprise solutions and architectures, including SD-WAN, Campus & Branch networks, DC switching fabrics, Routing, Switching, Security, and Common Criteria certified products.
- Must have technical sales experience working with Account Executives and have a strong background in selling advanced networking & security solutions to meet customer business needs.
- Relevant Juniper certifications or other industry certificates are beneficial. Ideally, you will have advanced knowledge of Juniper products, including MX, QFX, SRX, JUNOS, and cloud solutions.
- Equivalent knowledge of and experience with other vendors' equipment will be considered, as will recognized non-Juniper certifications.
- The candidate will support large government and enterprise customers and must have extensive experience designing and selling complex solutions to these segments.
