Responsibilities include the following:

• Research and development for mobile camera features and image/video quality improvement

• Prototype solutions on platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes

• Deployment of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.

• Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.

3+ years industry experiences in the following areas:

• Experience with signal, image and color processing

• Experience with C, C++, Matlab

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over Master Degree (PHD Degree preferred)

• Experience with camera technology and ISP (Image Signal Processor) pipeline design

• Experience with different types of sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing

• Experience with mobile imaging related development and technology

• Driving ideas from design through commercialization

Minimum Qualifications:

Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software and/or hardware. Designs and coordinates complex engineering projects at the system level. Performs functional decomposition to drive requirements and specifications to both hardware and software. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Ensures system-level performance and power metrics are met. Drives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Working under some supervision.

• Making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

The responsibilities of this role do not include:

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Gathers, integrates, and interprets information from a variety of sources in order to troubleshoot issues; finds solutions and shares opinions about ways to address the issues.

• Collaborates with tech leads and engineers on a project in order to verify the accuracy of systems with minimal supervision.

• Verifies proposed solutions to identified issues; accurately addresses and corrects the problem with minimal supervision.

• Adapts to changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Implements and tests features with some direction/supervision from tech lead.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
