As a Nexus Platform Analyst, you will collaborate with Trading, Sales, and other business functions to deliver tailored solutions. You will work with Nexus to enable managers to outsource operations, execution, and synthetic delivery of their strategies to J.P. Morgan, allowing them to focus on navigating markets and raising assets. Your role involves creating investment products referencing a dynamic portfolio of Equities and other asset classes, providing Sales coverage with a global focus, and expanding the capabilities and client base of the Nexus platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Trading, Sales, and other business functions to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Enable managers to outsource operations, execution, and synthetic delivery of their strategies to J.P. Morgan.
  • Create investment products referencing a dynamic portfolio of Equities and other asset classes, rebalanced on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide Sales coverage with a global focus, emphasizing sophisticated sovereign wealth funds, retail brokers, and asset managers.
  • Focus on core product development and implementation, expanding the capabilities and client base of the Nexus platform.
  • Interact with clients and sales partners, liaising with different internal control functions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • An enquiring mind, perseverance, and the ability to handle a large amount of information.
  • Ability to understand simple and complex equity derivatives products, along with related regulations and risks.
  • Self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful ideas to meet bespoke client requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliability and a team-player personality.
  • Experience in equity derivative products, especially delta one products.
  • Knowledge of different booking structures and internal systems within Equities.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
