Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the BofA Europe Paris finance team, the team is responsible for the finance activities of Paris, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and Brussels branches

  • The country controller role will focus on accounting, controlling, statistical and tax reporting requirements of the 4 branches of BofA Europe DAC

  • The successful candidate will be involved in the production of regulatory returns, while ensuring that the existing key processes and controls used are adhered to and upgraded as appropriate.

  • The Controller Team operates very much on an integrated basis with the business and a key part of the broader Finance Department

  • This position provides the right candidate with exposure to all elements of the Bank’s business in terms of its products, risks, and regulations

What we are looking for:

  • A graduate degree preferably in accounting, finance or business

  • Some Finance/management accounting or reporting experience gained working within or with a regulated financial services institution, preferably within a global bank or investment bank would be preferred

  • Qualified accountants will be preferred for this role

  • Previous experience of working in France/ Belgium/ Netherlands is essential, with exposure to a working with a regulated entity strongly preferred – Note the role is based in Paris

  • Fluency in English & French is essential

  • Other languages (Dutch) are advantageous
