As a Cybersecurity Operations - Tech Risk Engagement Associate within our Cybersecurity Operations team, you will navigate the complexities of technology risk and cybersecurity. You will work closely with all groups within Cybersecurity Operation to provide guidance, oversight, and establish consistency across the program. This role provides an opportunity to lead supplier oversight efforts globally, support supplier oversight functions, and develop a portfolio management strategy. You will also have the chance to identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain controls and validation milestones established by the team. Job responsibilities

  • Lead Supplier Oversight efforts globally across Cybersecurity Operation teams to ensure firms Third Party Oversight (TPO) guidance is adhered to
  • Support supplier oversight functions such as onboarding, contract engagements, invoice processing, purchase requests, and NDA requests
  • Identify and champion changes needed to Supplier relationships
  • Troubleshooting escalations from Suppliers or internal partners to resolve discrepancies
  • Act as a liaison between Cybersecurity Operations and key partners and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and Risk Control frameworks and their adoption in evaluating supplier management and third party risk domain
  • Develop a portfolio management strategy, by assessing inventory for efficiency and reduction opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge on emerging threats and rapidly changing risk environment to improve supplier risk assessment process
  • Uphold firm wide Resiliency Program efforts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver increasing operational efficiency within the processes
  • Maintain controls and validation milestones established by the team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in overseeing successfully short term objectives and long range projects with interim and measurable goals
  • Experience interacting with senior executives
  • Proven track record in building good working relationships across global organizations and influencing change
  • Excellent business judgment, particularly the ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions
  • Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with senior management and peers
  • Strong analytical, communication, research, objective decision making and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify gaps and manage change to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent technical experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Technology controls with emphasis on Risk and Cybersecurity controls
  • Past experience in developing, executing or enhancing a supplier and risk management program preferred
  • Time Management - experience managing tight deadlines
  • Partner - ability to coordinate, work with, and gain the trust of business stakeholders to achieve a desired objective
  • Business knowledge - ability to understand the business / knowledge of regulation surrounding business
  • Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner
  • Strong attention to detail in conducting analysis combined with ability to accurately record full supporting documentation
  • An ability to leverage the efforts of multiple teams into a cohesive product/service
  • An ability to mitigate an issue by leveraging support from internal stakeholders in a collaborative approach
