Description
You will first work on cellular modem development and bring up activities. Subsequently, you will transition to research and design of next generation (6G) wireless communication systems for radio access networks with emphasis on the PHY/MAC/L2/L3 layers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Contribute to link-level and system simulator modelling and framework design.
  • Take a top-down approach towards system design starting from a use case of relevance to Apple products, defining a problem statement and arriving at groundbreaking innovative solutions.
  • Participate in industry/academic forums focused on 6G technology.
  • Assess the benefit of different proposals to solving a problem.
  • Define and provide vital systems engineering support towards rapid prototyping platform development in the form of system requirements and system design documents.
  • Contribute to future 3GPP RAN work items on 6G technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Participate in industry/academic forums focused on 6G technology.
  • Assess the benefit of different proposals to solving a problem.
  • BS and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
