Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus: Represent the voice of the customer in product strategy discussions, ensuring that customer needs are prioritized.
- Product Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and document customer and market requirements for product development.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other functional teams to ensure products are market-ready and meet business objectives.
- Research & Insights: Analyze available data, customer feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement of the product.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Messaging & Positioning: Help create and refine product positioning and messaging for marketing campaigns.
- Opportunity Discovery: Assist in identifying new market trends and opportunities, contributing to the product strategy and roadmap.
- Business Case & Financial Models: Support in developing business cases and revenue projections for new products and features.
- Pricing Models: Collaborate with the Finance team to develop pricing strategies that support business growth and profitability.
- Market & Competitor Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 2+ years in product portfolio management.
- Product Strategy: 2+ years of experience defining product strategies for Telcos and Enterprises, with a focus on SDN/NFV solutions.
- Telecom & Networking Knowledge: Proficiency in NFV/SDN, network slicing, virtualization, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and cloud networking.
- AI Exposure: Exposure to AI technologies and their application in networking environments.
- Lifecycle Management: Experience managing the product lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering).
- Product Marketing: Ability to create product collateral, market research reports, competitive analysis, and pricing models.
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Business Case Development: Experience supporting the creation of business plans, financial models, and investment justifications.
- Industry Experience: Strong foundational knowledge of Telco and Edge environments, including networks and infrastructure.
- Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and customers at various levels.
- Simplifying Complexity: Ability to break down complex technical issues into understandable and actionable insights.
- Execution Excellence: Experience in taking product initiatives from concept to completion, with a focus on agile, iterative delivery.
