Key job responsibilities
-Tackle tax technology challenges with scalable solutions delivered in a quick-and-nimble fashion
-Help define requirements, design, build and rollout solutions.
-Work with multiple stakeholders and manage the complexity of competing needs and timelines. -Understand the solutions we have today, applying them where appropriate and inventing new capabilities when needed.
-Own particular processes and/or parts of our technology toolset, providing subject matter expertise and mentorship

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
