We are looking for a passionate, hard-working and talented Software Development Manager for our growing Blink team. Our products need to be easy to use and run on minimal power. In this role, you will lead the firmware effort bringing new consumer products to market. You will interact with teams both within Blink and across the rest of Amazon. Most importantly, you will focus on ways to make the best products for our customers.Key job responsibilities- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software.- Proactively solve day-to-day challenges and exercise sound judgment.

A day in the life
The Software Development Manager will work with their team to deliver new features for Blink cameras. You will work closely with your stakeholders to prioritize and schedule engineering work. You will be responsible for all engineering team members, coaching and mentoring as they work to execute a set of agile stories to deliver the required features. You will also work with your direct reports to remove roadblocks, help with career development and coach the team on best practices and agile processes.

- Deep understanding of software development in a team and a track record of shipping software on time.
- Proficiency of the tools of the trade, including modern programming languages (C/C++, Python) and open-source technologies (Linux, RTOS).
