Job Responsibilities
- Establish Organizational Alignment and Integration
- Establish Project Construction Operations
- Oversee implementation of system wide safety program that utilizes safety professionals and focuses on health and safety of the Jacobs and Client employees through ongoing education and training.
- Require proper site preparation, including traffic control devices if needed.
- Plan, organize, and staff key field positions.
- Verify and document that permits are being handled correctly and recommend correction to procedures if problems are occurring.
- Document One Call and line locates have been initiated timely to the construction schedule.
- Document that inspections are being properly documented and reported in the field and identify any non-compliance issues for corrective actions.
- Document that scope of work changes or “extras” are properly managed (i.e., no extras without previous written approval), and documented, and that costs are controlled.
- Check that Jacobs and client sign offs for systems turnover from contractors and to client are achieved and documented.
- Ensure proper documentation of all construction activities that is traceable, verifiable, complete and accurate
Here's what you'll need
Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years in industry experience
- 10+ years of experience managing projects
- Strong working knowledge of gas piping systems, P&IDs, PFDs, site layout and material take?offs
- Background in natural gas distribution and transmission work preferred
