Your key responsibilities

  • Lead large scale client engagements and the development of complex deliverables. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring consultants within the organization.
  • Generate, pursue and close new business opportunities. Understand Ernst & Young and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
  • Demonstrate deep strategic thinking, technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.



To qualify for the role you should have

  • Master’s degree and/or 8+ years of related work experience; An emphasis in business, economics, or healthcare administration (MBA or MSC are preferred).
  • Health consulting or operational management experience with prior experience as an advisor in a consulting firm or in a senior management role within a healthcare organization.
  • Strong, industry-relevant analytical and strategic capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and achieve goals within a complex environment.
  • Ability to work with C-suite level executives from client organizations.
  • Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple and/or large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (knows when to lead and when to follow).
  • Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Travel requirements may be up to 80% of work week.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $144,000 to $216,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
