Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Collaborate with Production teams to identify pain points and enhance or create analytical solutions using tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
Develop a customer-centric understanding of Production needs and opportunities.
Assist in analyzing business processes and problems to identify, prioritize, and contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at developing new or modifying existing data/information tools, systems, or reports.
Understand existing efforts & tools and drive alignment as to when new tools versus improvements to existing tools are needed to avoid duplicate work and overhead waste.
Align with local, regional, and global data teams to facilitate proper infrastructure to support scalability, ease of use, accuracy of data for production reporting.
Support and align Production data tools to the MG strategic vision for data governance practices, including the design, architecture, and implementation of data collection, storage, mining, machine learning, visualization, and analytics strategies.
Develop project plans for Production data / tools improvement projects.
Act as the single point of contact for data analytics projects, ensuring milestones are met and projects are executed effectively.
Understand and gather data from various sources, clean and validate it to ensure accuracy, and prepare it for analysis.
Understand and identify key master data critical for Production tools. Develop systems to ensure master data is properly inputted, maintained and utilized.
Lead or participate in the design, testing, and sustainment of data tools and systems.
Work with Production customers and Data stakeholders to define business requirements for data/tool improvement projects.
Ensure that appropriate training and documentation is provided on the analytics solutions being delivered to ensure appropriate usage.
Collaboratively develop ownership models with clear roles and responsibilities for maintenance and sustainment of all Production data tools, reports, or systems.
Support, update and maintain identified existing and/or new Production data tools, reports, or systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or technical degree
5+ years of experience in advanced analytic techniques and data science
Experience with data programming languages and technologies (i.e. Python, SQL, AWS Athena, etc.)
Experience managing data analytics implementation and reporting projects.
Able to effectively translate technical information across multiple functions and levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving, process-driven and critical thinking skills.
Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
Experience with cloud data warehouses or data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, AWS).
Knowledge of production work processes & key metrics, data science, and performance analytics.
Effective project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with data analytic tools (e.g., SAP, GSR, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI).
The job may require 5-10% travel to visit BSC manufacturing sites, conferences, and flexible schedule to accommodate multiple time zones.
Maximum Salary: $ 156900
Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
