And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.As a technical leader, you will manage complex stakeholder operational issues, relationships and develop innovative mechanisms and solutions to enhance the interconnectivity and availability of AWS's global network infrastructure.Key job responsibilities
- Handling both reactive and proactive operational issues related to AWS's external network services such as PNI, Public Peering, Transit, Embedd Caches, and Backbone.
- Engaging in advanced triaging for critical services and maintaining ownership of troubleshooting and communication.
- You will also enhance and develop mechanism to further improve AWS network processes for a better availability and connectivity.A day in the life
You will be working alongside a diverse group of Network Development Engineers from the AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions.

• Experience with major routing protocols, specifically BGP.
• Experience of optical transport (passive and active Layer 1/WDM) operations and networks.
• Experience in automation via Bash/Shell scripting and Perl/Python programming.
• Experience of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
