Minimum Qualifications
- BA or BS program in a relevant EHS discipline
- 4+ years of EHS technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations and International Fire Code
- Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies
- Experience in developing, maintaining and implementing written EHS programs and processes, tools, and materials
- Experience providing laboratory and facilities EHS support
- Nationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e., Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Highly motivated and self-managing
- Is proactive, assertive, and has a sense of urgency to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be on call and work off hours as needed, and is comfortable with acting as a first responder in emergency scenarios
