Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will have impact on everything from the functionality we deliver for our customers, to the design and architecture of our systems, to the algorithms we employ, and to the culture we build. You will work closely with experienced leaders and engineers to develop new features and solutions that solve broader industry challenges. Some of the things you will do:- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software as part of our new AWS service
- Follow best practices in software development, Agile and DevOps methodologies and keep abreast of emerging technologies.
- Mentor and grow other engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
