Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

· General Indirect tax advisory works and vetting of the contracts, documents etc from IDT implications standpoint

· Advising on legal and compliance issues relating to requirements under Indirect tax laws, statutory approvals and filings etc.

· Issuing legal opinions and memorandums on various issues relating to IDT laws across various sectors.

· Work as a team in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, to assess the IDT implications

· Work as a team on tax due diligences and handle various sections of a due diligence exercise.

· Drafting and vetting of transaction documents such as agreements, joint ventures agreements and various litigations etc and provide comments

· Good knowledge of IDT issues and keeps abreast of developments in law.

· Be up to date with key technical and functional skills, and industry trends

· Experience in tax and regulatory support primarily AMI sectors

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

· A post graduate degree, preferably MBA or PGDM from reputed institute - CA

Prior experience/insight into GST and Customs, as also the erstwhile Indirect taxation viz. Sales Tax/ Service Tax/Central Excise is desirable.
