About the role:
The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion across the Cardiology Group (CG) and its three divisions. You will develop and lead the implementation of internal and external communication strategies that support business objectives while increasing CG brand leadership You will be focused on supporting CG sales leadership to effectively communicate and achieve business goals across multiple channels – specifically you will be a critical partner to the President of U.S. Cardiology Sales and Vice President of Portfolio Strategy and Operations

You will also be responsible for developing external storytelling and brand assets that effectively represent CG and elevate our leadership position. You will work in a highly autonomous environment while establishing relationships with internal/external business partners to develop compelling recommendations, drive communication initiatives to completion and help shape the future brand of CG. At Boston Scientific, our products and technologies diagnose or treat a wide range of medical conditions. We continue to innovate in key areas and are extending our innovations into new geographies and high-growth markets. In CG, we design, develop, and produce technologies for diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular disorders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Communication Strategy: Works with executive leaders to build & executive a comprehensive communication/brand strategy to support business priorities and align all three divisions under one brand.
  • Develop strategies to enhance revenue growth by focusing leadership on top opportunity Cardiology customers, and Cardiology collaboration initiatives.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment through the development of Cardiology objectives, pipeline decks, and key discussion topics for sales leadership meetings.
  • Partner with sales leadership to gain a thorough understanding of the Cardiology strategies to facilitate discussions to gain alignment across the Cardiology Selling Org.
  • Exhibit professional maturity and help to foster an open, challenging, stimulating, and positive environment that enables colleagues to be their best.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in Consulting, Marketing, Strategy, and/or Finance
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to earn and maintain the respect of senior leaders, to respectfully disagree with senior leaders, and/or generate buy-in
  • Creative marketing and communication mindset
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to create clear and compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience executing brand strategies for leadership
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment
  • Ability to travel 20% as needed.

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Master’s degree
  • PR or Communications Experience
  • Medical device or healthcare experience
