Responsibilities:

  • Understand market trends and propose new business ideas and opportunities with long-term plans, strategies, competitive analysis, and growth expectations to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
  • Develop a differentiated product line targeting key applications with the engineering team based on market pain points and needs.
  • Lead the execution of a long-term strategic plan, including targetmarkets/applications,internal and external milestones, and an execution plan.
  • Own the pricing, commercial terms, and profitability for the responsible products.
  • Work closely with sales to develop customer relationships at different organizational levels and hold regular business reviews to find new opportunities.
  • Drive sales activities to meet and exceed the annual sales budget, ensuring close coordination and alignment between regional sales teams.
  • Execute growth plans by prioritizing engineering and project management needs, deploying resources for new initiatives, calculating business cases to ensure ROI and GP targets, and developing customer-specific pricing strategies.
  • Fine-tune business development solutions via value propositions and creating compelling sell stories.
  • Act as a conduit by taking the strategic roadmap and intentions while driving tactical execution and priority within the account management team.
  • Ensure project execution and deliverables including the necessary escalation path.

Qualification:

  • More than 8 years of experience in a B2B technical environment.
  • Relevant work experience in product engineering and business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen, with business development experience in Europe and China.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong leadership skills. Ability to work across regions and cultures preferred, with a high affinity for interacting with European and China customers and understanding cultural differences.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required, with fluency in Chinese preferred.
  • Willing to base in Shenzhen and travel to Europe
