Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this senior client-facing role of SAP Solution Manager Consultant you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Solution Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams..Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design, implement, and configure SAP Solution Manager to meet business requirements
- Conduct workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders to define Solution Manager scope and objectives
- Develop and maintain Solution Manager landscapes, including monitoring, incident management, and change management
- Configure and customize Solution Manager modules, such as System Monitoring, Root Cause Analysis, and IT Service Management
- Integrate Solution Manager with other SAP systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and system documentation
- Provide training and support to end-users on Solution Manager functionality and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with other teams, such as BASIS, security, development and testing
- Stay up-to-date with new features and releases of Solution Manager and apply knowledge to improve system performance and functionality
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP implementations, preferably SAP..
- Overall knowledge of SAP products, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
- Overall understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
- Strong industry background.
- Proven experience on implementation and integration engagements combining business consulting, technology, application software and infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of technology, processes, integrations, etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
- Problem solving skills, ability to make efficient decisions on limited available information.
- Sound business judgment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines with high frustration tolerance.
