Your main goal will be to strengthen customer relationships and achieve profitable revenue growth in service offerings for the installed BSC Capital product base. You will accomplish this by identifying and contacting potential customers through remote channels and successfully selling service contracts.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage a defined territory with an assigned customer pool, including existing and potential clients of Boston Scientific.
  • Conduct remote outreach to identify business opportunities and increase sales results.
  • Proactively and regularly contact customers, primarily via phone, to promote products and services and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop as a professional telesales representative by acquiring foundational knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Use the sales process and available systems/tools to plan, prepare, and target customers for successful deals.
  • Identify expiring service contracts and warranties to initiate the renewal process.
  • Detect and identify target opportunities to increase penetration of the entire capital equipment portfolio.
  • Prepare and generate quotes for service contract renewals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Ensure the processing and documentation of completed agreements in compliance with company policies.
  • Provide weekly updates to management on sales progress, at-risk customer accounts, and sales forecasts.
  • Record and maintain accurate information on sales opportunities, contract documentation, and leads in the CRM tool Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with field territory managers to support existing or potential customers (on request).
  • Advise and support customers remotely via communication tools such as phone, email, and occasionally web or video communication.
  • Build sustainable and business-relevant remote relationships with decision-makers such as biomedical engineers and purchasing managers.
  • Manage and maintain customer information in Salesforce.com by capturing strategic data such as roles, procedures, and customer preferences.
  • Address customer complaints and provide optimal support for issue resolution in line with company processes.
  • Participate in internal team projects, sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences (upon request).
  • Represent Boston Scientific’s values and integrity while adhering to the mission, strategy, and structure of BSC and its quality standards and processes.
Your Profile:
  • Successfully completed a business-related (university) degree or commercial training with relevant experience.
  • Initial experience in inside sales or field sales.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for sales activities.
  • Strong sales skills, closing abilities, and excellent organizational and communication strengths.
  • Integrity and a “winning spirit” mindset.
  • A high level of teamwork, customer focus, and quality awareness is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ideally also in SAP.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
