Venmo Product Manager - Consumer - Payment Experiences

Venmo has millions of customers and we want to make their experience better every day. With core products like peer-to-peer payments, paying businesses online and in-store, the Venmo Credit and Debit cards, and more, Venmo is like a rocket ship continually launching to new heights.You will be responsible for strategically designing new features and connections in our Consumer experiences. You’ll work with other product managers as well as engineering and design to build out and execute a product roadmap within the Consumer space. You will investigate data around our existing products and review where the largest opportunities may be to grow and expand our target audiences, manage request intake and feature scoping, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features. You will be the point person for your area, balancing customer desires, business requirements, legal/compliance, growth and monetization considerations.Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching innovative mobile-first experiences

  • Analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features

  • Identify, design, experiment and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, data, and market research

  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, market, and launch product

  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of consumer web or mobile product management experience

  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product hypotheses and decisions

  • Deep empathy and appreciation for user needs

  • Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces

  • Strong sense for visual design and detail

  • Track record of working cross-functionally and executing in high-growth environments

  • Experience in Payments or Consumer Financial Services is a plus
