Develops embedded software/firmware within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations. Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design. Works with a variety of storage interface standards. Performs systemlevel design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing.Develop silicon IP firmware for Memory Decode and Uncore BIOS reference code and related documentation for Intel next generation chipsets and processors for server segment. BIOS development work involves working closing with Si design team, Silicon validation, Board design, PMC, ucode\ucode teams to close on BIOS requirements\support BIOS debug during execution cycle. Work involves designing\developing BIOS features for Intel Xeon CPUs\Products. Responsible for authoring BIOSarchitecture specification etc. Work involves fixing BIOS issues during validation phase of the programs working closely with Sys-debug\validation teams. Work involves delivering BIOS reference code to OEMs during program execution. Work involves working with customer facing teams to understand external requirements to be implemented part of reference BIOS. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for the BIOS related issues during the planning, development, Si Power-On and validation stages of the program. Work involves strong leadership \collaboration skills to lead BIOS development work, good communication skills to work with internal stake holders during program execution Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
