Amazon and Associates Program are growing at an incredible rate. To keep up with that growth we must continually innovate to define and build different ways to compensate and reward our creators. We are launching new products, and are seeking experienced, results-oriented software developers, who can use big data, and analytical techniques to design and implement scalable solutions for business problems. As a technical leader for your space, you'll manipulate and process TB-sized data, supporting real-time access and orchestration across multiple systems. You'll build cutting-edge creator-level simulations, at-scale and in real-time, using a variety of statistical tools (ML/econometrics/causal inference).Key job responsibilities
- You will be expected to lead cross-team development efforts to provide the technical vision and strategy for the future of incentives and compensation for Amazon Associates worldwide, balancing short and long-term technology investments.- Your will create service engines that leverage data insights, and automate key compensation processes using latest technologies.
- You will work on projects that require innovative and creative thinking, deep technical problem solving, and mentor other engineers, improving their skills and ability to get things done.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
