Your key responsibilities

You’ll spend much of your time engaging execution and delivery of unclaimed property asset recovery engagements, including assisting in identifying, securing, and recovering assets for our clients. We’ll look to you to develop strong relationships with our clients and team effectively with internal resources. You can expect to be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, government, or business administration
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for learning database management
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to meet deadlines
  • A desire to be a part of a team in a high-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with client interaction and communications
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

Ideally (but not required), you’ll also have

  • 3 years of relevant unclaimed property recovery experience, or working in the financial services or accounting industry, or for a government agency
  • Technical expertise and experience related to filing unclaimed property and/or refund claims with government agencies
  • Experience establishing and maintaining the “back office” functions, including, the hardware and software required to operate the business (i.e., third-party software, mail room, and call center support functions)

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $52,100 to $85,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $62,500 to $97,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
