Your key responsibilities

  • Work hand-in-hand with the senior report advisor as well as functional and technical support teams
  • Support shaping the vision of the product offering in collaboration with product line lead and senior report advisor based on the overall Finance and R&DA strategy
  • Focus on adoption and awareness of the solutions to increase usage
  • Establish, maintain and leverage a reliable network with actual target audience as well as various stakeholder groups to gain insights on what the business needs and what is changing
  • Identify potential enhancements or new critical topics based on interactions with the networks
  • Act as a change agent and a spokesperson for the entire offering within the product line and focus on the intended user of the tool and be visible and approachable
  • Share insights on current state of solutions, how they are being used and take an active role in the discussions on future enhancements
  • Partner with more technically oriented Business Analysts within the product line team to drive towards user friendly, business focused and consistent solutions, designs and visualizations
  • Actively support global training activities, support regional efforts and manage customer communities
  • Prepare product line communications about upcoming updates, enhancements or issues, in alignment with R&DA’s overarching communication strategy
  • Partner and regularly discuss with other product lines to ensure consistency, leverage new developments, ideas or change in technology but also share best practices regarding communication, networks and training
  • Prepare and actively collaborate in meetings with other functions, local teams or within the R&DA to solve open topics, propose innovate solutions and link the product line team into other initiatives, campaigns or projects

  • Communicates clearly, assertive and focused on mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Good presenter and trainer – act as an influencer or sales person
  • Overarching knowledge around the product line offering, EY’s business concepts and rules as well as the strategic objectives
  • Establishes and maintains good relationships within the R&DA, Finance, other functions and Operational Leads as well as stakeholder groups
  • Very structured mindset
  • Overview of EY’s end-to-end processes and customers need to go through and that are critical in reporting (e.g. pipeline management, engagement management and budgeting, billing) as well EY’s key management structures
  • Ability to navigate challenging and complex environments with support of the senior report advisor
  • Transform the message from “what the solutions shows” to “how to use the information”, “how to generate insights” and “what actions should be taken next”
  • Fluent English skills
  • Having the ability to have business conversation in a secondary language, primarily Spanish or Japanese, would be beneficial but not mandatory

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 5 plus years of experience in a finance or markets/business development department or change management programs
  • Relevant business experience
  • Good network within EY would be beneficial but isn’t mandatory
