Together, we’re pushing the limits of what’s possible and we need someone with field construction expertise with a focused knowledge in electrical.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with construction manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to commute to/from multiple worksites.
Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 5 or more years of engineering/construction experience
- PE or CCM a plus
- Water/Wastewater experience preferred.
- Be able to read and interpret contract documents and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with MS Office software is required.
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Willingness to train in OSHA, CPR and other Jacobs mandated training classes
